Thelma Dean

Thelma Parrish Dean, loving mother and grandmother,  98, passed away peacefully at home in Winston-Salem,  NC on February 27, 2023.  She was born on July 19, 1924 to the late Cabel and Daisy Parrish.  Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Ray Parrish and Fred Parrish; her daughter, Carol (Sam) Burleson;  grandchildren,  Amanda (Jay) Hughes and John (Carrie) Mabe; great grandchildren,  Paxton Berry, Alyssa Berry, Corbin Berry, Josh Hughes, Caden Latham, Baylee Mabe and Makenzie Mabe.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,  William Dean; her sons, Terry Dean, William  (Billy) Dean, III, Thomas Dean, Gary Dean; her brothers, Wade Parrish, Grady Parrish; her sisters, Ruby Tilley and Elsie Bull.  A private service will be held for the immediate family.
