Thelma Cummings Haneline

Mrs. Thelma Cummings Haneline, 88, of Lewisville, died on Friday, November 4, 2016, at Yadkinville Nursing Center. Thelma was born in Forsyth County on June 9, 1928, to James Turner and Callie Belle Cummings. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to being a dedicated mother and wife, she was an excellent homemaker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Travis Cletus Haneline and one grandson, Matthew Haneline. Surviving are one daughter, Susan Haneline (wife Kim Stanley ) of the home; three sons, Dan Haneline (wife Jan) of Longwood, FL, Stephen Haneline (wife Karen) of Raleigh, NC, Ricky Haneline (wife Faith) of Midway, NC; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Dr. George Smith officiating. A private interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
