Theodore 'Ted' Alexander Harper

Mr. Theodore ""Ted"" Alexander Harper, 67, of Lewisville, died Friday, October 4, 2013, at his home. He was born August 8, 1946 in Forsyth County to Eugene Alexander and Mary Watson Harper. Mr. Harper was a hard worker and retired from R.J. Reynolds with 38 years of service. He loved his grandchildren and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bruce Harper. Surviving are his wife, Patty Sue Harper, of the home; 2 daughters, Lisa Nail (Gray) of Winston-Salem, and Lori Simons (Mark) of TN; 2 stepsons, Kevin Calhoun (Mackenzie) and Brad Calhoun (Anna), both of Winston-Salem; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Mallory and Holly Beth Simons, Kylie Nail, Jackson, Elijah and Myla Calhoun; and Alexander and Isabella Calhoun; 1 sister, Lois Conrad (Robert) of East Bend; 1 brother, Perry Harper (Shirley) of Brevard; 1 sister-in-law, Shirley Harper of Lewisville. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 7, 2013, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Mark Simons officiating. Burial will follow at Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery.
