Thomas "Chip" Chipman, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Luther ""Chip"" Chipman, Jr., 84, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1932 in Iredell County to Fannie Loraine Cook Chipman and Thomas Luther Chipman, Sr. Mr. Chipman was a veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict where he received the Purple Heart. Surviving are his wife, Jeri Blevins Chipman; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Chipman and husband Alan Dudleck of Charlotte; a son, Barry Chipman and wife Nancy of Rural Hall; a grandson, Ryan Chipman and wife Jaime of Gastonia and six great grandchildren.
