Thomas "Tom" Christopher Pereira

Mr. Thomas “Tom” Christopher Pereira, 49, of Walkertown, NC, walked into God’s presence on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Tom was born on December 31, 1974, in Fort Myers, Florida, to the late Mr. Manuel Pereira and Mrs. Valentina Grace Martins. Tom knew many roles such as, Son, Brother, Mentor, but his favorite was Dad. He will always be the best Dad ever to his daughter, Bella, and to his Dog, Brutus. To Tom, nothing came before his family. He graduated from Aviation school in 2001, and then became an aircraft technician where he was very well respected by everyone in the aviation industry. Tom loved to get his hands dirty, he never turned down a challenge to repair anything. He was very intelligent and had a sense of humor that would instantly bring a smile to your face. In his free time, he enjoyed playing rugby, spending time with his family and his dog, and watching any sports team on TV. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to all who knew him, and he will be very missed. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Bella; his longtime soul mate, Kendra; his mother, Valentina; a sister, Victoria; three brothers, Manuel, Mark, and John; six nephews, John Keisel, Manuel Jr., Miguel, Matthew, Mark Jr., and Timothy; and his dog, who was his son, Brutus. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on July 20, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Rick Speas officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the funeral home. Committal will follow at Gardens of Memory Walkertown. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel has been entrusted with the services for Mr. Pereira.
