Thomas "Tom" Dorian Nelson

Thomas Dorian Nelson, 45, gained his wings on March 4, 2023. Tom was a happy and fun-loving person who focused on being someone who looked beyond himself to meet the needs of others. He would intentionally text all his family with a word for the week, that was filled with a deep thought-provoking message. He would be described as not easily broken and always had a take charge attitude. He enjoyed tackling life’s challenges head on. He was loved and admired by all who knew him and he will be remembered for his deep, but rational conversations. He is survived by his mother and father, Thomas and Debora Nelson; son, Jailyn Nelson; daughter, Jaiyah Nelson; sister and brother-in-law, Joy & Jasper Thomas; brother, Antoine Nelson; niece and nephews, Jasper Thomas II, Nadia Brewster, Trekeya Brewster and Ariona Brewster; and numerous loved ones. Floral arrangements are welcome, and can be sent to the funeral home.
