Timothy Kirk Dickens

Mr. Timothy Kirk Dickens, age 59 of Advance, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. He was born February 11, 1958 in Forsyth County to the late M. J. Dickens and Betty LouNora Cline Dickens. Mr. Dickens was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was an Inspector for Davie County. He is survived by his wife, Karen Zimmerman Dickens; two daughters, Alexandria Elise Dickens of Denver, CO. and Kathryn Victoria Dickens of Advance and his four furry friends, Boo-Boo, Leela, Snappy and Guapo. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Pastor Ken Furches and Pastor Ray Robinson. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Davie County, 291 Eaton Rd.
