Timothy Jay Whicker

Mr. Timothy Jay Whicker, 45, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013. He was born July 15, 1968 in Forsyth County to Jay E. and Beatrice Snow Whicker. When God took our precious son and brother, we thought our hearts would break, but he leaves with us a tremendous wealth of memories that will never fade or be forgotten. With him our love, our hearts, our sorrows he will carry away so that we may celebrate the life he so selfishly shared with us. Every image leaves us with an afterglow of smiles. Surviving are his mother, of Davidson County; 3 sisters, Shirley Hemric Everhart (Rodney), Debbie Hemric Hedrick (Kelly) and Rhonda Whicker Jolley; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday at Canaan United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Canaan United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1760 Shady Grove Church Road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27107. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
