Mrs. Toby Jean Wilson Pierce, 75, passed away December 12, 2016 at her home. She was born April 22, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late Jesse Monroe Wilson and Osie Faye Shore Wilson. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Waughtown Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Gray High School in the class of 1959. She will always be remembered for her love of family and the laughter that they shared together. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a passion for the beach, crafts, and bingo. Mrs. Pierce is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard ""Dickie"" Pierce; a daughter, Jeanna Pierce Hagan; a son Brian Pierce and wife Susan; four grandchildren, Jessica Pierce, Allie Pierce, Bailey Hagan, and Michael Hagan and wife Meghan; a brother, Jim Wilson and wife Jean. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Shannon England and John Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Forsyth County for their compassion and care.
