Tony Ray Boles was born a native of Forsyth County as the son of the late Colen Ciscero & Blanche Dickens Boles on October 31, 1946. He passed away at the age of 76 on August 16, 2023. He went to South Fork Elementary and West Forsyth High School, the Class of 1965. Mr. Boles married Nancy (Leigh) Peck Boles and had four children; Daniel Ray Boles, Terri (Leigh) Boles Mathews, Michael Wayne Boles, and Rodney Craig Boles. He drove a semi-tractor trailer truck for many years, becoming a seasoned truck driver and retired from Holly Poultry after 40 years of service in 2016. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel on January 27, 2020. He is survived by his siblings: Colene Boles Sapp and Patty Doyle Blake; ex-wife, Nancy Peck Boles (mother of his children); children, Terri (Leigh) Boles Mathews, Michael Wayne Boles, and Rodney Craig Boles; grandchildren, Daniel: Nicholas Ray Boles, Spencer Forest Boles, Anmarie Boles, and Savannah Boles; Terri: Brandi (Marie) Turner Taylor and Elizabeth Ann Mathews; Michael: Samantha Kaitlynn Boles; Rodney: Patrick Craig Boles and Bunni Noel Boles; great-grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Mayberry, Theodore Bryan Taylor, Jr., Kaylee Renae Boles, Paisley Elizabeth Boles, and Lawson Edward Almond. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Grapevine Baptist Church, 7895 Grapevine Road, Lewisville, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
