Travis Williams, Jr.

Mr. Travis M. Williams, Jr., 53, of Statesville, NC and formerly of Ruby, SC passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  He was born August 9, 1966, the son of the late Travis Melvin Williams, Sr. and Betty Holley Williams.  He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and was a Mason and a Shriner.  He was employed by Allvac for 24 years. He was a family man, a jokester and magician and loved to read. He loved oysters and family gatherings.  Survivors include four children, Alley Williams, Sammy Williams (Anthony), Jacob Williams (Caitlin), and Gracie Williams; four siblings, Sonya Dollar (Danny), Vicki McLendon (Dale), Matt Williams and Traci Williams; nine grandchildren, Genesis, Aiden, Maddie, Brody, Ben, Braxton, Eden, Aries, and Grady; one stepson, Tyler Brigman; one stepsister, Missy Carter.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Miller Rivers Funeral Home in Chesterfield, SC.
