Trudy Gayle Miller Sizemore

Mrs. Trudy Gayle Miller Sizemore, 74, passed away on Friday May 15, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on December 26, 1951, in Lexington, Virginia to the late Bobby Franklin Miller and Lelia Mae Hayslett Lloyd. Trudy was a homemaker while raising her children, then worked as an accountant/office manager for Winston-Salem Engraving for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, birdwatching, gardening, and tending to her wildflowers. Trudy was an amazing cook and loved to make recipes for her family. She adored her husband and loved to dance with him. Some of their favorite activities included watching plays and camping at Belews Lake and Watauga Lake with friends and being grandparents. Trudy gave the best hugs and was always smiling. Her comforting presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Marie Snavley. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Dillon Sizemore, her daughter, Holly Brook Sizemore (Jon), her two sons, Jeremy Dillon Sizemore and Bradford Dillon Sizemore (Tonya), four grandchildren, Kassady Hendrix (Justin), Caleb Dillon Sizemore, Riley Kate Sizemore, and Colton Thomas Pugh, one great-grandson, Karson Hendrix, and two sisters, Cathy Renee Sitte (Carey), and Terry Lynn Grabhofer (Uwe). A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Don Charles officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
