Vicki Owen Dees

Vicki Owen Dees, 73, passed away on March 29, 2026, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Vicki was born on March 13, 1953, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Wendell Holmes Owen and Dorothy Louise Davis Owen. Vicki earned her associate's degree in accounting. She worked in the Accounts Payable Department for North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC, for 38 years.

In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her brothers, Wendell Holmes Owen, Jr., and Danny Eric Owen. Left to cherish her memory include her sister, Barbara Owen; son, Robert E. Dees, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Cleary; nephews, Scott Owen, Michael Owen (Julie), Matt Owen (Sara); nieces, Bridgett Puckett, Erica Gardner (Tim), Christy Carter (Russell); great nieces and nephews, Lexi, Karsyn, Owen, Chase, Joey, Emma, Mason, Danielle, Diedre; great-great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Miles, and Dani; brother-in-law, Michael Dees, his children, Shawn, Brian, Jason, and family; brother-in-law, Gary Dees (Claire), his daughter, Shari and her family; sister-in-law, Sharon Villafranca (Bill), and her children, Vince and Morgan, and their family; as well as many friends, close acquaintances, and co-workers at Baptist Hospital Accounts Payable Department.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC, officiated by Rev. Francis Smith. A burial will immediately follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, 6135 Ridgecrest Point, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
