Vicki Collins Walker

Mrs. Vicki Collins Walker, 71, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1945 in Forsyth County to Ada Victoria Winters Collins and Walter Ambus Collins, Sr. Mrs. Walker retired from Truliant Federal Credit Union. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings, Walter Ambus Collins, Jr., Dorothy Wilson, Talmadge Collins, Marie Templeton, Mozelle Shore, Landrus Collins and Juanita Hicks. Surviving are her husband, David Walker; four siblings, Mickey Minor and husband Bob, Sandra Pitts and husband Carl, Audrey Vestal, Ralph Collins and wife Beverly; her special nieces, Sharon Dunlap, Sarah McCraw and Jill Smitherman and other numerous nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Janet Edwards, Linda Mabe. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Jerry Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
