Vickie Morgan Bowlin

Mrs. Vickie Johanna Morgan Bowlin, 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Guilford County on January 18, 1951, to Raymond Lemuel and Mary Wood Morgan. Vickie loved to watch movies and racing, play games on her tablet, and to bowl. She also loved her two dogs, Benny and Cookie very much. Vickie enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb. She was a loving grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whenever she could. Vickie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Lee Bowlin, Jr. She is survived by two children, Elizabeth Lefler (husband, Doug) and Donald Bowlin, III; two grandchildren, Emery Bowlin and Brandon Bowlin; one sister, Susan Iola Hughes (husband, John); and two nieces and one nephew.

Services for Vickie will be private. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family during this time.
