Vickie Yow Plemmons

Mrs. Vickie Yow Plemmons, 57, of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her home. She was born January 1, 1956 to Robert Yow, Jr. and Belle Newberry Yow in Nashville, TN. She embodied compassion and served as a caregiver, especially to her family and anyone she encountered. She loved moons, stars, and angels. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving to cherish her memory are her high school sweetheart and husband of 33 years, Chris Plemmons; sons, Robert Plemmons and Brooks Plemmons; brothers, Robert Yow III, and Brian Yow (Sandy) and their children, Silas Yow and Bella Yow; nephew, Zann Yow; mother-in-law, Frances Smith; father-in-law, Jim Plemmons (Brenda); sister-in-law, Torri Plemmons (special friend, Kathy Sink); very special friend, Cheryl Jacobs; as well as her wonderful and loving family in SC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Ray Davis officiating.
