Vincent John Gallo

Mr. Vincent John Gallo, 81, of Advance, NC, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

He was born August 13, 1943, in the Bronx, NY, to Nicholas and Catherine Gallo.

Vincent graduated from the University of Dayton before serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he began a journey rooted in discipline, service, and integrity. After his military service, he founded Vincent J. Gallo & Associates, Inc., an insurance agency he operated for many years with commitment and care.

A man of refined taste and quiet joys, Vincent loved his Porsche, treasured Tom Clancy novels, and was famously loyal to his cherished afternoon naps on weekends. He found both adventure and comfort in the details, whether through the thrilling pages of espionage fiction or the familiar rhythm of family traditions.

Vincent was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church and a steady presence in the lives of those around him.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Blanche Poplin Gallo; two sons, Mark Gallo (Abigail) and Steven Gallo (Sarah); four grandchildren, Enzo Gallo, Nico Gallo, Henry Gallo, and Eleanor Gallo; and one nephew, Christopher Martin (Melinda).

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Clemmons Methodist Church.
