Violet B. Lorenz

Mrs. Violet B. Lorenz, 83, of Clemmons passed away Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, she was born June 29, 1930 in Worms, Germany to the late Michael and Anna Obenauer Bertrum. She was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church for the past forty-seven years. She retired from Bi-Lo Grocery with many years of service, and enjoyed shopping after her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Ray Allen Moxley. She is survived by her husband Ernst K. Lorenz of the home; one step-son, Ernst Lorenz of New York; one grandson, Ernst Diego Lorenz of N.J and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Friedberg Moravian Church with the Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating with burial to follow in the church graveyard.
