Mrs. Violet Juanita Stilley Wilkins, 92, of Winston-Salem, NC, entered the more immense presence of her Lord and Savior on July 10, 2025, at her home. She was born one of eight children on October 27, 1932, to the late Mr. Early Lee Stilley and Mrs. Ollie Ball Stilley.
Violet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to yard sale and thrift. Her favorite place to shop was Goodwill and she always seemed to find something to buy from QVC.
Many would say that Violet was the most caring, sweet, kind, and precious lady they have ever met. She was always willing to go the extra mile to make someone smile. All who knew her loved her and she will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in passing by husband, Junior Wilkins, and her first husband, J.C. Craver; two sons, Michael and Thomas Craver; three brothers, Bill, Gene, and Tutor Stilley; three sisters, Margaret James, Evelyn Renegar, and Judy Ann Brown; one granddaughter, Kelly Hilton Hunter; and one grandson, Joseph Craver.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her two children, Larry Craver (Sharon) and Brenda Smith (Rick); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Matt, Kelly, Terry, Joni, Christy, Tina, April, Justin, and Michael; two great great grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Stilley.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 2:00pm, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jason Holley officiating. There will be no formal visitation held.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Hanes Baptist Church, 4210 Sabrina Lake Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
