Virgina Pearl Carroll Pleasant

Mrs. Virgina Pearl Carroll Pleasant, 84, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Hopkins County, Kentucky to the late Woodvul Granderson Carroll and Fairy Irene Littlepage Carroll. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Jefferson Christian Church in Rural Hall, NC. She loved her Lord and her family with all her heart. Virginia was an avid reader and loved all flowers, especially sunflowers. She was very thoughtful of her friends and family to whom she sent cards on every occasion. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Pleasant, Jr.; two brothers, Wesley Glenwood Carroll and Russell Franklin Carroll; and one sister, Dorothy Ann Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Cook (Steve); and two grandchildren, Emilee Smith (Luke) and Jenna Pierce (Brian). A graveside service will be held in Kentucky at a later date.
