Virginia "Gail" Warner Aycoth

Ms. Gail Warner Aycoth, 86, passed away on May 9, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Gail was born on March 6, 1939, to Aubrey John Warner and Mary Frances Parks Warner in Winston-Salem. Gail attended Gray High School and later worked and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after 33 years of service.

She loved art, music, and a good movie, but her true passion was her children and grandchildren. She was a kindhearted woman who loved to laugh and sing. She was a delightful person to be with. Gail was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Warner, Sr. Surviving are her son, Bobby G. Brown (Allison) and her daughter Sheila B. Burris (Chet); six grandchildren, Katie B. Ward, Kellie L. Ashby (Stephen), Ty Burris, Carlie B. Garris (Dalton), Marisa B. Helms (Josh), and Sadie B. Holt (Jordan); as well as four great-grandchildren, Cason Ward, Cohen Ward, Easton Ashby, and Hudson Ashby.

There will be no public services. The family will hold a private graveside service.

The family commends Willowbrook Nursing Home in Yadkinville and Taylor House in Albemarle for the excellent care they provided Gail in her later years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Any floral arrangements may be sent to Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
