Virginia Bodsford

Virginia Stewart Bodsford, 89, of Lewisville, NC, retired to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 2, 2023. She passed peacefully in her sleep after a long, meaningful life.  Virginia "Jenny Mae" was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Bodsford; two brothers, Ned and Ted Stewart and two sisters, Barbara Minor and Ellen Lane. She is survived by her brother, Sherrill Stewart and sister, Kathryn Wood (Terry); three children, Bill Bodsford (Janet), Wilma Sealey (Doug) and Alice Ferry (Julian); three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Don Minor.  She loved her family, church family and friends. Although she will be missed greatly here on Earth, we know she is rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Virginia's body will be laid to rest beside her husband following a graveside service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Clemmons, NC.  The service will be presided by Pastor Joshua Boles of Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville, NC.  Flowers will be accepted at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel or donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 130 Lewisville, NC 27023 in memory of Virginia Bodsford.
