Virginia Elizabeth Boyd Goodman

Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Boyd Goodman, 81, died peacefully Saturday April 11, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1927 in Forsyth County to Joseph Lee and Betty Cromer Boyd. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Goodman; a daughter, Nancy B. Dowell and son, Lane Brian Goodman. Surviving are her son, Steve R. Goodman; grandchildren, Jon Dowell and wife Lisa, Shane Dowell and wife Crystal, Jamie Goodman; special niece, June Reynolds; sister, Juanita Carter; brothers, Thomas Boyd and Richard Boyd. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00AM Monday, April 13, 2009 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Dr. Henry May officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Acute Palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
