Virginia Collins Tise Overcash

Mrs. Virginia Collins Tise Overcash, 93, of Lewisville, NC, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born July 3, 1918 in Logan, West Virginia to Luther and Mary Hunter Collins. Mrs. Overcash worked as an LPN for many years. She was a very active member at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Mooresville until she moved to Lewisville. She then returned to her former church, Trinity United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem where she rejoined many loving friends. She was a member of The Eastern Star and volunteered for over 20 years at Lake Norman Regional Hospital where she served tirelessly well into her eighties. Mrs. Overcash was preceded in death by two husbands, Harold Bynum Tise and Daniel Ray Overcash and four sisters. Surviving are a daughter, Sonia Bambauer of Lewisville; a son, Hal Tise of Lewisville; a sister, Bettie Adams of Kernersville; a granddaughter, April Roscana (Peter) of Winston-Salem and a great granddaughter, Lauren Roscana of Winston-Salem.
