KERNERSVILLE – Vivian Gillikin Fagg, 97, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at her home. Vivian, was born on July 8, 1921 in Carteret County to Moore and Pricilla Gillikin and was the last living child of 9 children. Vivian was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church for over 38 years and was loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nathan Fagg; 8 brothers and sisters; and three children, Nancy Phelps, Roy Fagg and Sidney Fagg. Surviving are 3 daughters, Diane Ingold, Mary Styers, and Shirley Muller (Harold); two sons, B.J. Fagg (Cindy), and Danny Ray Fagg (Kay); 18 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor John VanVeen officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 1053 Walnut Cove School Rd, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
