Wa-Dean Beasley

Mrs. Wa-Dean Brown Beasley, 71, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017. She was born in Yadkin County on December 19, 1945. Mrs. Beasley was a member at Collide Church. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed camping and gardening. Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Beasley and her father, Luther Brown. Surviving is a son, Bryan Long (Tina) of East Bend; daughter, Swansa L. Bryant (Steve) of Yadkinville; four step-children, Dawn Austin (David), Arnold Beasley (Brenda), Shane Beasley (Kay), and Robin Beasley; three grandchildren, Nathan Royal (Heather), Storm Long, and Stone Long, Pvt. E2; great-grandson, Hayden Royal; mother, Edna Brown; two brothers, Ranzie Brown (Betty) and Brent Brown (Christina); three sisters, Hilda Johnson (Chris), Gilda Brown, and Janice Steelman (William); also surviving are several nieces and nephews and her special dog, "Lacey". A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Mr. Bob Cleary and Rev. Jamie Reavis officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens.
