WINSTON-SALEM-Mr. Wally Lee Lambeth, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at his home. Mr. Lambeth was born on October 3, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late Thomas Houston Lambeth and Mary Annette Ireland Lambeth. He was a member of Lexwin Baptist Church. Wally retired from McLean Trucking Company after 39 years of service. He enjoyed going fishing at the beach, especially at the Long Beach Pier. Mr. Lambeth was preceded in death along with his parents by a sister, Judy Franklin. Mr. Lambeth is survived by his wife, Lenice Lambeth of the home; daughter, Karen Lambeth Sanderson (Guy) of Swansboro, NC; son, Kim Lee Lambeth (Kashemi) of Winston-Salem; two grandsons and three great-grandsons; one brother, Wayne Lambeth (Joan) of Winston-Salem; sister-in-law, Lois Hensley of Winston-Salem; and Wally's special companion, his jack russell puppy Penny. Funeral services for Mr. Lambeth will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Lexwin Baptist Church with Pastor Erick Goff officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lexwin Baptist Church, 100 Wainwright St., Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
