Walter Matthew "Matt" Hollingsworth

Walter Matthew “Matt” Hollingsworth, 40, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1984, in Forsyth County to Mark and Fran Hollingsworth who survive. Matt grew up playing baseball, enjoyed riding dirt bikes and bass fishing. He was also an animal lover, had a pure soul, a great sense of humor and was loved by all he met. Matt was currently employed at Aramark in Yadkinville. Surviving along with his parents, Mark and Fran are a sister, Ashley Hollingsworth; nephew, Carter Bright and his paternal grandmother, Reba Hollingsworth. Per Matt’s wishes, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
