Walter "Walt" Lee Jones

Mr. Walter “Walt” Lee Jones, 78, passed away at his home on June 27, 2024. He was born on March 15, 1946, to the late Earl Jones and Shirley Coleman Jones in Lorain County, Ohio.

Walt loved fishing, golf, and was a big animal lover. He served in the United States Army and during his service he was awarded the National Defense Service medal, a Good Conduct medal and was recognized as a Sharpshooter. 

In addition to his parents, Walt was preceded in death by his brother, James R. (Judy); and sister, Janet (Robert) Brosky.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Maines Jones; step-daughter, Laurie (Robert) Stone; step-grandchildren, Sterling and Joshua; brother-in-law, Lonnie Maines, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
