Walter Krampitz, Jr.

Mr. Walter Louis Krampitz Jr., 72, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Walter was born in New Haven County, Connecticut to the late Walter L. Krampitz Sr. and Alberta H. Bates Krampitz on November 21, 1945. Walter enjoyed traveling and gardening. He served on the Preston Woods HOA Board of Directors and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Krampitz; son, Todd Krampitz; brother, Mark Krampitz; sister, Linda Avery; nieces, Lyn Karpinski (Tom) and Tracy Harris (Jeff); nephew, David Avery. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Tim Wolfe officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kidney Foundation, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157 or any local charity of your choice.
