Walter Huey Leonard, Jr.

Mr. Walter Huey Leonard, Jr., 60, of Clemmons passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 9, 1954 in Guilford County to Walter Huey Leonard, Sr. and Louise Grunert Leonard. He was very proud to be an Eagle Scout and was a computer engineer as long as his health permitted. Walter played for over 40 years with the Moravian band at the Easter Sunrise Service. Surviving are his wife, Dayle Benge Leonard; a daughter, Jennifer Michelle Leonard ; a sister, Vicky Leonard Starnes and husband, Frank; and a niece, Christina Starnes. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Randall Lenderman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
