Wanda Gail Luck-Willis, 59, of Winston-Salem, beloved wife and mother, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was born on October 5, 1958 in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother Sylvia Ann Wilson Walker and her father, Robert A. Luck, both of Winston-Salem.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Howard Morton Willis of Winston-Salem, daughter Jennifer Leigh Kniffin of Hollywood, Fla., cousins, her step-father W.M. Walker of Kernersville, NC, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, with a degree in Economics, where she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority.
Wanda was an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, where she served as past President of the United Methodist Women and was active in Senior Adult Ministry. She was formerly employed by RiverRun International Film Festival.
A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock on Friday, July 27th at Centenary United Methodist Church, 646 West Fifth Street in Winston-Salem, and the service will be conducted by Reverend R. Craig Ford. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 658 Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
