Wayne McAllister Horsley

Wayne McAllister Horsley, aged 74, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Trinity Elms. He was born in Martinsville, VA on May 18, 1951, to the late Marvin and Eurseline (Cox) Horsley. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Wayne served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career, he dedicated 10 years to computer programming. Wayne was an avid golfer and a lover of captivating novels. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family watching game shows after a home cooked meal. Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Shirley Horsley; daughter, Jennifer Smith (Daniel); son, Eric Horsley (Amanda); grandson, Landon Walker; brother, Gary Horsley and a niece, Megan Horsley. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Lewisville United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Brown officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
