Wayne Douglas Ketner

Mr. Wayne Douglas Ketner, 83, passed away on Tuesday November 28, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on June 30, 1940, to the late George Ketner and Nora Livengood Ketner in Forsyth County NC. Wayne worked at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company for 38 years and was a supervisor in the machine shop. He served in the Army and loved woodcarving. Wayne was a devoted member Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Watts Ketner; special cousin Bruce Davis; and special friends David Sweat, John O’Conner, and D.J. Hall. There will be no formal services for Wayne.
