Mr. Weldon Eugene Wall, 70, of King, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 13, 1943 in Yadkin County to Graham and Helen Hutchens Wall. Mr. Wall was of the Methodist faith and retired from Brown & Williamson Company after 23 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, DeeDee Holt. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Katherine Wall; a daughter, Rhonda Young (Wayne) of Pinnacle; a son, Randy E. Wall (Tiffiany) of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Adrianna, Kayla and Dustin; a sister, Sue Smith of Winston-Salem; three brothers, Johnny Wall (Jane) of Winston-Salem, Allie Wall of Winston-Salem and Ken Wall of Stuart, FL and two special furry friends, Scooter and Colby. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John Hylton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
