Mr. Wesley Charles Crater, 68, of Clemmons died on June 8, 2017, at his residence. Wesley was born in Forsyth County on October 3, 1948, to Clarence Ruben and Ophelia Smith Crater. He was a former Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and superintendent at Rosemont Baptist Church; and retired after 23 years of service from N&W Railroad. He also enjoyed fishing and yardwork. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Crater; and twin sister, Leslie Beasley. Surviving are his loving wife, Debbie Angel Crater; two daughters, Nikki Crater (Adam) and Casey Frymire (Allen); and one son, Charles Wesley Crater. Also surviving are his mother, Ophelia Crater; one sister, Brenda Pass; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Beasley; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3pm Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Rosemont Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Reed officiating.
