Wesley Hinson

Mr. Wesley Eugene Hinson, 71, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1947 in Forsyth County, the son of the late, Hubert and Laura Stewart Hinson. Mr. Hinson was a 1965 graduate of East Forsyth High School and was retired from the Winston-Salem Journal. He loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees. He was an avid Wake Forest Fan and loved coaching softball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Hinson. Survivors include his wife, Pam Hinson of the home; one son Kenny Hinson and wife, Jenny of Winston-Salem; one sister, Harriet Hinson of Kernersville; two nephews, Josh Hinson and Jonathan Hinson of Winston-Salem. He was a special "grandfather" to Caleb Wesley, Paisley, Harper and Emery. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
