Wesley Eugene McDonald

Clemmons Mr. Wesley Eugene McDonald, 83, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Edward and Dorothy Weiler McDonald. Mr. McDonald was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He retired from Owens-Illinois with 35 years of service. Mr. McDonald volunteered at Forsyth Medical Center and was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death was his wife, Cherie A. McDonald; three brothers, Edward, Jake, and Bruce; three sisters, Orah, JoAnne, and Beatrice. Surviving are two sons, Michael E. McDonald and Rick A. McDonald; daughter, Patti L. Stapleton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also surviving are three brothers, Tom, Dennis, and Jerry. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to JDRF, Central NY Chapter, 100 Metropolitan Dr. #400, Liverpool, NY 13088. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
