Willa Jean Elledge Smith

Mrs. Willa Jean Elledge Smith, 85, passed away October 4, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Virginia Waddell and Mack Elledge. Mrs. Smith graduated from Mineral Springs High School and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Smith, Jr.; sister, Jo Crocker; and brother, J.C. Elledge. She is survived by three children: Alvin Smith (Donna) of Kernersville, Donna Blakley (Keith) of Winston-Salem, and Angela Stallsworth (Jim) of IN; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Dr. Brad Stamey officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Bethany Baptist Church, 600 Old Hollow Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
