Willard Leon McGhee

Mr. Willard Leon McGhee, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 8, 2017 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida. He was born in Jackson Ohio, on December 16, 1930 to the late Willard D. McGhee and Dorothy Landrum McGhee. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps and was a combat veteran of the Korean Conflict. Leon was a graduate of Stetson University with a BS in Business Administration. He retired from American Standard Plumbing and Heating as a Sales Representative where he worked most of his career. He was preceded in death by his brothers Marshall and Edward McGhee. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rita Leach McGhee; sons, Greg and his wife Maria, and Mark and his wife Georgann; daughter, Jill McGhee Scott and her husband Randy; grandchildren, Alex McGhee (Sara), Michael McGhee (Bianca), Skylar McGhee, Suzannah Scott Shinn (David), Katie Scott, Alison Scott Paul (Brent), Will Scott and 4 great grandchildren, Bella, Rosalee, Lily and Sofia. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Matthew Sink officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
