William "Bill" Earl Taylor

Mr. William Earl Taylor, 83, passed away on October 26, 2025, at his home in Stokes County. He was born on February 5, 1942, in Guilford County to the late Earl Currie Taylor and Margaret Freeland Taylor. William “Bill” enjoyed spending time outdoors, skiing, target shooting, camping, rafting, the ocean and boating. He enjoyed living on the farm and spending time with friends there as well. Bill was a Freemason and a proud member of MENSA. He loved spending time with his dog, “Kurt.” He was a dedicated supporter of the Friends of Stokes Animal Shelter. Bill is survived by one daughter, Shannon Hoffman (Kevin) and beloved friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of Stokes Animal Shelter at 1111 Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
