William "Bill" Joseph Weese

William "Bill" Joseph Weese, 60, of Winston-Salem, NC, marched through Heaven’s gate on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his home.

Bill was born on November 6th, 1965, in Baltimore, MD, to Shirley Mines Evans and the late James Eli Weese, Sr.

Bill spent most of his life in Baltimore before moving to Winston-Salem in 2010. There, he connected with his childhood sweetheart and married his soulmate, Christina, in 2012. Together, they became the image of devoted love and faith. Bill enjoyed a simple life and was the happiest surrounded by the people he loved most. The majority of his hobbies included being outdoors, ranging from fishing to riding recreational vehicles. He was often found sharing his love of the outdoors with his grandchildren, encouraging their creative thinking.

Bill was a man of many talents, creating many things with his hands. He especially loved wood-crafting as he became the Founder of Weese’s Woodcrafts and took on projects for fun. He always enjoyed the occasional at-home engineering projects to showcase his talents and to explore new hobbies, such as raising chickens and quails. Home was a comfort to Bill, as he was surrounded by his adoring family and many interesting hobbies.

Bill loved many things, but he loved his wife and family the most. During this time, his family cherishes his memory and will continue to hold each other close in honor of him.

In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by his beloved brother, James Eli Weese, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory forever include his loving wife, Christina Weese; his children, Cindina Chapman, Megan Braun (Robert), Lori Chapman, Julie Weese, William Weese (Angel), and James Weese (Kenzie); and numerous grandchildren. He will also be missed by his surviving mother, Shirley Evans; and his sister, Lisa Weese Zaharek (Rich); as well as his lifelong best friend/sister, Josephine Weese Turpin (Cliff).

A graveside service will be held on at 2:00PM on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
