William Christopher Ellingham

William Christopher Ellingham, 61, of Clemmons and Greensboro, NC passed away at home on January 15, 2024. Born in Forsyth County, NC, the son of Wayne Eugene and Louise Snow Ellingham. Mr. Ellingham graduated from West Forsyth High School, attended Catawba College and graduated University of North Carolina at Greensboro with honors in biology. He served and retired as Chief with over 24 years’ service in the United States Navy. After his service retirement, he worked as a chemist for P&G. He grew up on the family farm in Clemmons, spending his childhood in Tanglewood Park, later working in the park as a teenager. Mr. Ellingham is preceded in death by his father, Wayne E. Ellingham, and survived by his mother, Louise Snow Ellingham; and sister, Stephany L. Ellingham. Interment will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
