William Eugene Dull

Mr. William Eugene Dull, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home. He was born September 19, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late William Samuel Dull and Pauline Livengood Dull. Mr. Dull retired from R. J. Reynolds with 37 years of service. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. Mr. Dull was a volunteer fireman and served on the Board of Directors of Mineral Springs Volunteer Fire Department for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dull was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean Curry Dull; two daughters, Pamela and Tammy Vernon; sister, Inez Hartman; brother, George Dull; and special friend, Gary Styers. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Gary Styers officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Liberty Baptist Church, 1548 Old Hollow Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
