William Ellis

Mr. William Sidney Ellis, 81, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. He was born in Forsyth County on September 21, 1936 to the late Noah and Francis Johnson Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and retired from RJR Archer. He loved his family, enjoyed farming and playing golf. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Lola Ellis; three daughters, Debora Ellis (Bill Woratchek), Linda Sechrest, and Susan Rinehart; also surviving is a grandson, Nathan Rinehart. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Michael Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Rd.
