William Fulp

Mr. William Yancey "Bill" Fulp, 94, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on December 24, 1923 in Forsyth County to Aurelius Addison and Martha Pegram Fulp. Bill was a long-time member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in WWII and was awarded three Distinguished Flying Crosses. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jewell Roberson Fulp and six brothers and sisters. He is survived by one daughter Vickie Burgess (husband, Russell); two grandchildren, Earle Burgess (Caroline) and Melissa Gherardi (Pierre); four great grandchildren; Hannah, Jacob, Leah, Mai; and many special nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Bill will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Larry Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
