William "Bill" Miles Green

Mr. William ""Bill"" Miles Green, age 63 of Winston-Salem went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 17, 2015. Mr. Green was born in Durham County, September 2, 1952 to William Monroe Green and Gracie Virginia Jones Green. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Bill was the men's Mission Director, on the nominating committee, a leader for the R.A.'s and was an usher for many years. Bill and his wife Joyce were Christian Clowns. Their goal was to tell everyone about Jesus. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joyce Dowdle Green of the home.
Funeral services for Bill will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall, NC. Dr. Brad Stamey and Rev. Brian Alverson will officiate. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown, NC The family will receive friends at the funeral Wednesday morning for 10:00 A.M. until time for the funeral service.
