William Kiger

Walkertown- William Junior Kiger, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. William was born on October 1, 1937 in Forsyth County to William Raymond and Myrtle Davis Kiger. He was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church and worked at RJReynolds. William was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his first wife, Nannie Bell Kiger; a daughter, Susan Moore; four infant children; a sister, Marie White; and a brother, Donald Kiger.
Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Mary D. Kiger; a daughter, Ann Cox; one grandson, Billy Moore; two sisters, Becky Fulk (Harold) and Barbara Fletcher (Harold); a brother, David Kiger (Barbara); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Kerwin Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Hawtree and Dr. Joe Myers officiating. Entombment will be a Gardens of Memory Mausoleum with Pastor Harold Fletcher officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
