William "Dee" Rowland

William “Dee” Rowland, 68, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He was born on January 18, 1956, in Stockton, CA, to the late Donald Rowland and Joy Bell Turner. Dee was an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Kernersville as well as the Shriner’s Club. He will be remembered as a great husband to his high school sweetheart, Cheryll, and an exceptional and dependable friend. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Dee is also preceded in death by his step-father, Kenneth Turner; two brothers, Daniel Rowland and Dwight Turner.

William is survived by his loving wife, Cheryll Norton Rowland, as well as a niece, Brittnee Richardson (Cody). 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 pm- 1:45 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Rowland family.
