William Henry Teaster, Jr.

Mr. William “Bill” Henry Teaster, Jr. of Lewisville, NC went to his heavenly home on April 30, 2024, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Ashe County, NC on December 19, 1948, to the late William Teaster, Sr. and Ruth Eller Teaster. Bill retired from Champion Dishwasher Co. after 30 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Army stationed in NC, Texas, and Germany. Bill was a simple man who loved and cared about his family and friends who in turn loved him. He is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Teaster Hale; brother, Jerry Teaster (Brenda); one special niece, Allison Hale Collins (Shaun); great niece, Bree Cornell; great nephew, Antonio Cornell; great-great nephew, Mari Moore; uncle, Jim Eller; aunt, Bennie Hobson; many loving cousins and three special cousins, Lisa Eller, Robbin Whitley, and Nancy Leonard. Bill was of the Baptist faith. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 6, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. The burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
